Mike has seen the dairy sector from nearly every angle. Mike grew up on an Upstate New York dairy farm and then went to Virginia Tech where he was a member of the dairy cattle judging team. After working at the National Milk Producers Federation, Mike worked 11 years at National All-Jersey, leading efforts to expand multiple component pricing and Federal Milk Marketing Order reform. As many in our audience know, multiple component pricing is the method that over 90% of the nation’s milk is priced at the farm gate. He later served at the dairy cooperative level at Northwest Dairy Association and its Darigold brand. Then he transitioned to Glanbia before joining Kroger as director of dairy supply chain. In 2023, Mike became Chief Economist at IDFA and now serves as Vice President of Dairy Market Intelligence at T.C. Jacoby.
