Daragh Maccabee joined Idaho Milk Products as CEO in 2017. He has been a resident of Idaho’s Magic Valley for almost 2 decades since arriving here from Ireland in 2006. Idaho Milk Products is a vertically integrated international milk processing leader, specializing in milk protein powders and owned by local Idaho dairy farmers. In May 2026, the company expanded its operations in Idaho, opening a state-of-the-art ice cream plant and a powder blending facility in Jerome.

Prior to joining Idaho Milk Products, Daragh spent 18 years with Glanbia, initially in Ireland and most recently as SVP Procurement & Dairy Economics at Glanbia Nutritionals, based in Twin Falls. During his time with Glanbia, he served on the Board of Southwest Cheese and from 2006 to 2015 held the position of Executive Vice President & CFO of Glanbia’s US Cheese and Whey business. Prior to Glanbia, Daragh worked with Coca-Cola in Central Siberia, Russia and with an Irish hotel group based in Germany. He graduated from Griffith College Dublin and the Dublin Business School and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

Daragh currently serves as Chair of the Executive Committee of the International Dairy Foods Association (IDFA) and on the Board of the Innovation Center for US Dairy. He is a past President of the Idaho Milk Processors Association (IMPA). He also serves as Vice President of the Unity Alliance of Southern Idaho, an organization that promotes the value of immigrants to the continued prosperity of the Magic Valley and Idaho’s economy in general.

He is married to Dolores, and they have 3 daughters
