**BACK AGAIN... Guided Horseback Trail Ride
Experience the untamed beauty of Sun Valley, Idaho, with an exhilarating horseback riding tour. Nestled amidst the majestic Sawtooth Mountains, your guided horseback tour will offer a unique opportunity to explore the rugged wilderness and scenic vistas that define the iconic Sun Valley region. Knowledgeable guides will lead you along scenic trails, sharing fascinating insights into the area's rich history, wildlife and natural wonders. Whether you're a seasoned equestrian or a first-time rider, Sun Valley's horseback tours cater to all skill levels, providing a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
Riders must be at least 8 years of age, 52” tall and accompanied by an adult. Maximum weight limit is 250lbs.

Guided Fishing Excursion
Have a day of angling on some of the best fly-fishing waters in the Lower 48 states with a local expert guide from Sun Valley Outfitters. Sun Valley's waters have drawn generations of anglers looking to experience the same beauty and serenity as the likes of Earnest Hemingway, who was known to wade and fish the Sun Valley area with fond enthusiasm. All guides have a personal passion for fishing and are ready to help create a memorable experience for each angler, from the most experienced to the “first timer.” All fishing gear will be provided for you.

Fishing on Own
Experience the quiet serenity of fly fishing on your own. Get your gear and head out to the designated fly fishing spot. Compete for awards including the largest fish caught! We will do our part to keep the habitat safe and sound for another year, so do your best to "catch and release." Don't forget to bring your camera or smart phone. The pictures always tell the truth.
You will need to bring your own equipment.

Trap & Sporting Clays Tournament
The annual Annie Oakley style Trap-Shooting Tournament at the Sun Valley Gun Club is back!
The Sun Valley Gun Club is the premier target shooting facility in the Rocky Mountain West. Sun Valley's experienced instructors are certified by the National Sporting Clays Association and provide a full range of services, from novice to expert shooters. Your day at the Gun Club includes a shotgun, ammunition, clay pigeons and everything you will need to participate. No experience is needed, professional training is provided to beginners which makes learning to shoot trap a great experience.
As always, sporting clays will be offered in addition to the trap-style tournament.

Mountain Trail Hike
IMPA guides will lead a hike on one of the many splendid mountain trails in the areas surrounding the Sun Valley Resort. Carpools will be organized to the trailhead where you'll take off into some of Idaho's best hiking trails featuring exceptional environments and iconic views. Trails chosen for the IMPA hike will most likely be moderate in difficulty and require reasonably good physical condition. In the mountains, there are no prizes for finishing first, but satisfaction is mandatory and finishing the hike is what it is all about.
If you prefer to take it easy, recommendations for a number of relaxed walks leaving directly from the Resort by foot or a short drive away can be provided free of charge.

White Water Rafting on the Main Salmon in Stanley
Experience the rapids, history and wildlife found on Idaho's Salmon River, a National Wild & Scenic River receiving special protection for its unspoiled wilderness, diverse wildlife and crystal-clear waters.
Your guides from Sawtooth Adventure Company are the best in the business, and ensure your day is safe, fun and full of entertainment. On the river, you'll be introduced to the relaxing pace of ‘river-time‘ as you spend the day exploring the Class III family friendly whitewater and crystal-clear swimming holes. The Salmon carves a beautiful canyon through the Idaho landscape and you just might find ospreys, deer, beavers and otters!
Transportation to Sawtooth Adventure Company is on your own. Carpools can be arranged ahead of time with fellow attendees.
